Who are the Cybots? Hello! We are FTC team #5975 The CYBOTS from Denver, IA. We are a 7th-Year robotics team that is very excited to compete in this year's FIRST Tech Challenge game. Please explore our website to learn more about what we do!
Coming into our 7th year as being a team, we are now a team of 8! Starting as an FLL team and progressing though the years, we have competed across the world, innovated with beyond the box thinking, and inspired many. We have competed at the FIRST World Championship the past 3 years and even traveled as far as Australia to compete in the Asia Pacific Invitational. This past season, in the Relic Recovery challenge we were honored with the 2nd place Inspire award at Iowa State Championship. We find ourselves to be original in the sense that we always strive to be as creative and innovative in our robot designs as possible by designing the entire robot in CAD before build and by machining all of our parts ourselves with a basic mill and lathe. We also find Outreach to be extremely important. We love seeing FIRST spread in our community as it is promoted by our Annual FIRST and STEM camps every year. |

Last season, the Cybots have done extremely well. The team of fifteen have won the 1st place inspire awards at the League Championship, Iowa State Championship, and at the North Super-Regional Championship. So far this season, the team has advanced to Iowa State Championship from Super-Qualifier with the 1st Place Inspire Award and as part of the Winning Alliance!
