Who are the Cybots?

Hello! We are FTC team #5975 The CYBOTS? from Denver, IA. We are a 3rd-Year robotics team that is very excited to compete in this year's FIRST Tech Challenge game. Please explore our website to learn more about what we do!
The original Denver FTC team, also known as the Legacy Team, first started in 2012, and took a break during 2020, remerging in 2023 as CYBOTS? with a team compromised of FLL team members. We have competed across the state, innovated with beyond the box thinking, and inspired many.
This past season we earned the 3rd place Inspire award at the League Championship, which guided our way to state. The Legacy Team has competed at the FIRST World Championship 4 years and even traveled as far as Australia to compete in the Asia Pacific Invitational.
We find ourselves to be original in the sense that we always strive to be as creative and innovative in our robot designs as possible by designing the entire robot in CAD, which we can then put into action. Even with this, our final robot is never the original design; using the Development Process (Build, Test, Improve, Repeat) we are able to have a better functioning robot that fits the challenge of that season.
We also find Outreach to be extremely important, as we love seeing the community inspired by the ideals and creativity we get to use everyday. We find it important to expose the youth to robotics in order to open up a whole new area of interest. Engaging the community through STEM camps, Denver Days, and more allows us to reach our goals of connection to our community.
